North Carolina parents may be interested in the case of a Wakefield High School teacher who has been charged with drug trafficking. The 22-year-old teacher, who resides in Knightdale, was apprehended on July 10 and booked into Wake County Jail. She is facing multiple drug charges. Supreme Court overturns 1984 sentencing law
On June 26, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that a 1984 law known as the Armed Career Criminal Act was unconstitutional because it was too vague. The ruling is likely to have an impact on cases in North Carolina and throughout the country.
