Driver in fatal North Carolina crash faces DWI, related charges

A man who allegedly left the scene of an accident after the vehicle he was driving collided with a moped on Dec. 19 has now been charged in connection with the incident, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police. News sources report that a 22-year-old female passenger was killed when she was thrown from the moped and that the 19-year-old man who was driving it was seriously injured. Many Ferguson witnesses called before grand jury deemed dishonest

Adding to the already substantial amount of controversy surrounding the Michael Brown shooting, a new report from CNN shows that many witnesses changed their testimonies during questioning and others admitted to lying about even observing the shooting. North Carolina man charged with drug offenses following chase

According to reports by the Wilmington Police Department, a 22-year-old man was taken into custody following a brief foot pursuit. The man is facing several criminal charges, including drug possession, for his alleged actions. Authorities reported they received calls regarding a suspicious vehicle parked at Greenfield Lake Park.
